Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

With Easter coming are you having trouble with candy and other sweets?  My DD#3's boyfriend told me about the new Atkins Peanut Butter cups and after looking for them for a couple of weeks I finally found one box at Walmart.  I very seldom eat protein bars but he convinced me to try these.  They are pretty good but even one piece made me feel funny.  Even at 4.5 years out I am still very sensitive to sugar alcohols.   2 pieces are 160 calories, 0 sugar, 13 fats and 2 net carbs.

I was surprised how long it made me feel yucky.  I'm going to put the other pack in his Easter Bag.

I hope you enjoyed your BBQ chicken it sounds like your B and L were a bust.

Hi Roz,

I am sitting in my office at work with 4 Chocolate Bunny's in a bag.  They are for my children for Easter.  I always get them these and decided not to stop this year.  They are not bothering me as much now because since I am tracking my food and logging it I am a lot more careful with my calories, fats and sugars!!  Guess I should have been tracking all along-but I got lazy!!

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  1/4 Cup Spaghetti Squash, 1/4 cup pasta sauce, 2 meatballs
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
S:  Protein Carrot Cupcake w/ Protein Cream Cheese Icing
D:  Carbquik Cheddar Bun, 3 oz hamburger patty, tomato, lite mayo, mustard & Reduced Sugar Ketchup
S:  Protein Hot Chocolate

If I stick to the plan:

Calories 1,127, Carbs 40 (30 Net), Fat 41, Protein 142, Sugar 28

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  120 ozs

Miles:  None

I think once we get to goal and are holding steady we get the idea in our head that tracking is a part of dieting and we just want to be "normal".   I go way over board on Easter just like I do every holiday.  I always start out saying I'm not going to and then I do.

I have questions about the biscuits.  Mine seem eggy inside.  More like a souffle than a biscuit.  It seems like it should have more of the carbquick and less cream cheese. What degree do you back them at and how long.  I used a regular muffin pan. Would that have anything to do with it?

Awesome totals!

I bake them on 350 for about 10-12 minutes because I make 9 instead of 6 and make them real thin.  Maybe they need to cook a little more.  I would think a regular muffin pan would make them thicker and may need to cook a little longer so they get good and done in the middle.  Mine probably are about 1/2-3/4 inch thick each.

I haven't tried those but bought some Adkins bars when I was out and hungry once.  They were pretty good but the stats on different ones vary a lot.  You have to be careful.

My min pin went to the ER last night with breathing issues.  He is better today and they just took him off the oxygen.  Hopefully he will get to come home this evening.

It is cold and windy here but warmer than it has been and I did get out to drive.  I have lots of pony stuff coming up and Halley needs to get fit to do it all.

decaf protein coffee  33g
eggbeater, kale, cheese 21g
tuna salad 10g
lemon tea protein  13g
greek yogurt 15g
ham, green beans 19g
protein shake  33g

totals
calories  846
net carbs  29

No wonder I was hungry last night.  I didn't total this until Friday morning.

Who went to the ER?  Are they feeling better now?

I saw your low calories and I thought you had planned that.

Price I don't know what a min pin is.  I'm guessing min is miniature.  What is pin?
