..a.k.a.  Friday, babeees!     I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend but hoping the Easter Bunny skips your house.  Step away from the chocolate eggs, and other WMDs, and stick with the hard boiled eggs. Good luck out there.

No Easter baskets here, just hoping for spring weather so I can play outside.  Meeting this morning then headed with the pony to SC to drive.  They are talking rain for the weekend so I may be stuck in for more than I want. 

Max, the min pin came home last night from the ER vet. Still not 100% but doing ok and I sure was happy to have him snuggled back into bed last night.

If you are off for Easter, have a good break.

No Easter bunny here either!

Tomorrow is a puppy easter egg hunt...I suspect ours will just run around and bark...won't actually hunt anything!

And then Sunday, we are going to a friend's house for dinner.

But it's still COLD this morning...but it is suppose to warm up.

I volunteered to bring the deviled eggs for our Easter dinner on Sunday at my daughter's house.  Having young grandkids 3,6 & 8 years old my youngest daughter is buying them their first baby chicks and a  little chicken coup.  My older daughter has teenagers and is buying them flip flops and beach towels.  WHEW!  No candy this year.

I didn't get much candy for the DGD's baskets.  I got them things to play with instead.  I am making a bunny cake tomorrow for our Easter Dinner Sunday at my sister in laws house.  Hopefully it will all be eaten or I can just leave it there!!

I'm off now for the weekend.  Need to go visit my friends at the Nursing Home this afternoon, then have to pick up DGD#2 to take her to a big egg hunt here this afternoon.  DGD#1 couldn't come because she has a big egg hunt where she lives.  I will get to see her Sunday.

My brother and sister and I split holidays and Easter is my sisters.  I always lay some cash on the counter because I have such a big family compared to the rest and boy can they eat. Easter dinner is my favorite because I LOVE ham.  DH hates ham but he has finally learned not to complain.

We were allowed to wear jeans all week if we donated $5.00 to the United Way.  I haven't tried any skinny jeans on yet.  I might try them just for fun.

DGD had two boiled eggs last night after they colored them and DD said that was enough and wanted her to eat something else (pizza I think) and I told her ...let her eat the eggs.  I'm always interfering....LOL.

I tried on my skinny jeans the other day (by accident) and let's say it wasn't pretty.   I got them on a few months ago... the few lbs I lost since here have reappeared...

No candy here.  Tomorrow is Easter and birthday celebrations at my sisters'.  May have a little wee bit of cheesecake.  I'm bringing the topping and all I have is NSA Cherries - so that will work.  Kids are going up to the dads' - so it will be quiet around here. 

But - I was bad and made a molasses cake yesterday - I love molasses... and cake... and cookies - lol.  I'm containing myself.  May take it with me tomorrow for my mom - she loves them all too...

My boys including DH (lol) love peanut  butter cups, so I got them each a PB filled bunny :)  They will be gone so fast I should be safe.  Dinner at my niece's house, not sure what there will be.  I am making GB cassarole and pasta salad.  I may have to make some SF jello eggs. 

AWW .. little Max !  Mini-Me hopes he feels better ... snuggling next to Momma in the bed  definitely helped furry little Mini Me getthru his latest kidney-failure crisis  .  

Little pets often HATE the  vets  ( I suspect  they feel powerless whereas they have ALL the cuteness and control at home ) so when they return to their  accustomed environment they  make HUGE strides ... of course U're gonna make sure he drinks ... I put fresh cool filtered water on Mini me-s lips  and praise him to heaven when he lays down to actually drink...

thanks.  He seems much more back to normal today, has been following me in and out of the house as I have been working in the garden.  Forceing me to sit  every so often so he can snuggle and nap.  It's so hard when they get old.
