Morning Gina, I thought I'd pop online for a few mins. Egypt's nice 'n' sunny (got a tiny bit of sunburn which has pretty much gone now). I'm scraping in ~120g of protein and not enough fat (Bailey's isn't the best solution for this and I'm going to pay on the scale but insufficient fat consumption for a DSer can be uncomfortable to say the least). FWIW I was already adding mayo to most things and it really doesn't go with scrambled eggs but I had some anyway. I'll be having lots of heavy cream when I get home on Monday!!
I'm going to dust off my yoga and pilates DVDs when I get home too (I even did a little stretching this morning even though I've got a stinking cold). I know it's tame exercise but it's better than nothing and at least it gives me something to work my way up from!

My min pin Max ended up going to the vet ER last night with breathing issues. They kept him to put him on O2 and IV. He is 13 and has congestive heart disease. Hopeing he can come home today and be managed on meds (he was on meds already).
On a positive note, the sun is out and it is suppose to start warming up. I have missed being able to drive Halley so I am looking forward to a good day.
Staff training tonight. Always good to get everyone together even if it is new regulations we have to talk about.

Not much going on here....
We spent the last two days running errands. Got the birthday presents for older grandson who turns one in April. Now I need to find wrapping paper.

Yea... staying in Michigan another week. Went to the Dr yesterday and he was concerned about the redness on my foot. He gave me an antibiotic and wants to see me again next week - oh darn! ;) I think it was just the shoe I was wearing was rubbing it... he said it wasn't that red last week. Last night with no shoes on, the redness was gone. I guess I have been doing too much? I'm just walking around - and, almost normally, but he said the bones still aren't healed and I have to take it easy. But - there's SO much to do!!!
Nice and sunny for a very nice change. Supposed to stay like this all through next week. Will hit low 50's on some days but not consistently.

The sun is out and it is pretty here. Still a little chilly, but it is suppose to warm up.
DH and I went to DGD#2's program for grandparents day this morning. It was a lot of fun. She is spending the rest of her day with granddaddy. I have to work today so can't enjoy the fun!!
Short day tomorrow at work so I can take her to a big easter egg hunt here in town tomorrow afternoon.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Linda
Sunny here warmer, but still cool for me. wore my heavy barn coat out to feed the feral cats and my chickens and it still felt good in the sun even.
Still trying to get my fats and protein up. ate every 2 hours yesterday mostly protein and still was only at about 60 gms which I know is like, nil, for a DS'er so working hard on that. I am prob going to have to add about 3 more protein shakes in to get it up consistently. gonna get nectar twisted cherry protein for my water this time see how that works since I am not liking any of my usal addin in the water either now.
Whoops, gotta go eat...phone alarm going off... eggs n spinach with cheese, cooked in butter...:0
I finally saw the sun yesterday so I got out my bike and took a little ride. I forgot how good it feels to move. I've been such a slug this winter. No reason I couldn't ride when it's cold but I'm a baby. I'm going to aim for a 10 mile ride on Friday but I can't guarantee it. Riding my bike is the only exercise I like so I will try to do it as much as I can.
I got my doctor's appointment today so wish me luck with the labs. I hate fighting for every test but I really want to know how my labs are doing so I know what I need to switch up. I really don't want to wait until a year as passed and then I would have that much more to do when it could be headed off the pass now.
