My surgery, VGS, is at 7:30 tomorrow morning.  Scared to death.

It's okay to be scared. Keep reminding yourself that. It'll be a kind of mediation...and exercise in mindfulness. Look around the room and acknowledge the chairs, the curtains, the IV, etc. Focusing on the present will keep you from being freaked out about the future.

Be calm tomorrow.  It will go perfectly, and you will be losing in no time.

Good Luck!!!! Please keep us updated and to think, this time tomorrow you will be up walking around the halls at the hospital and all the fear you have now, will be a figment of the past...

Everyone stumbles and falls occasionally and as much as you feel the weight of the world some days, tomorrow is always a new day.
