post op clear protein help needed
Try adding some water and ice to them. I diluted diet cranberry juice for 9 months post-op, it's crazy how our tastes get over sensitive.

I am currently cutting Diet Cran-anything as follows...4 oz Diet Cran-anything with 12 oz water. I love to add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to the 16oz drink for the much needed protein.

Welcome!!!
When I was on clears, we could have vanilla protein. I used that in chia tea. I also drank a lot of Unjury chicken broth early out because it wasn't sweet. I couldn't handle the ready to drink stuff like isopute. these days I do a lot of Nectar Lemon Tea or Caribean cooler with crystal light. I add a bunch more water than it calls for still.

these days I use Syntrax Matrix but early out I used Syntrax Nectar. Others would work too. Personal taste differ but look for a 100% whey concentrate in the beginning.

Any protein drinks that I don't like the taste of (but don't want to waste the product), I add 1/2 cup to 1 cup of Fage plain greek yogurt.
Also heavy cream or half and half helps cut the sugar levels for me. The fat coats my sugar receptors on my tongue.
I always mix up the protein and liquid first, then add the sour yogurt and shake again.
Thanks for all the replies. I found the mixing in some crystal light lemonade help even out the sugary sweetness. The tartness helped to balance the sweet and allowed me to get it down. Back to Dr. today. Hoping to move on to stage 2.
There was a question about the unflavored....I did not have any of the unflavored to try so I can't give you an opinion on this. I don't think it could hurt to have some on hand to try.
