Sports, sports, sports

Just a few things keeping me sane while I continue to be unemployed.

First: getting back to tracking my food, increasing my protein and reducing my carbs.

And.....sports, sports, sports. NBA, March Madness, Baseball spring training. Love it all, except perhaps Hockey. My boyfriend enjoys the fact that all I watch on tv is news and sports, but also thinks I'm a little weird.

Moral of my story...whatever works to keep you on track.

My DH and DS watch anything that has a ball involved in it.  I'm not nearly as interested in those, but I do like to get on the computer and play games.

Good job on tracking your food and making some changes.  I imagine that is hard to do while you are at home.  That is one of the things that worries me about retirement in a couple of years....

i've been tracking lately and it has shown me a lot in a little time.  Those carbs add up really fast, even if you aren't eating bread, pasta and rice.

Sports, well, not so much here.  I like the different ones, skiing, track and field, etc.  DH and DS watch golf a lot.  I can tolerate that.  I don't really care for basketball and football.  Maybe because of the steady diet of it growning up.  But I can watch news all day.

It sounds like you are on the right "track" now!

The only sport I watch is All-Star Cheerleading.  DH watches hunting...hunting...AND HUNTING!!!!!!!  I guess he watches the Steelers too since we are from the Pittsburgh area because  tha'ts all anyone talks about during football season.  I just ask him in the morning if they won or lost.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!
