You all are sooo awesome for posting menus. It wasn't until I stumbled on the Lightweights forum that I slowly but surely got the grasp of what I should consume daily.

ROZ U ROCK!!!!

What is considered "The Honeymoon Period?"

I am will hit my 11 week post op on Thursday

for RNY, the honeymoon is while we are still malabsorbing, usually around 18 months.  After that we still have our pouch size but can absorb most of the calories we eat.  Still need to keep up the vits and minerals because we will still malabsorb those.

I rock....LOL  My DD's would laugh at that...hah  Awesome job losing 47 lbs.!!!!!

I'm not sure what surgery you had.  If you could post it and the date of WLS on your page or signature that would be really helpful.  I see Price answered 18 months for the RNY.  That sounds about right.  I still lost when I was a little over 2 years out and then the scales just got stuck all of a sudden.

Take advantage of the Honeymoon Period and let your body decide when it wants to stop!!!!   If you read the top of my original post you will see what I suggest  doing during that time.

I love roll-ups!  They are easy and good protein.  We are going out of town this weekend and I think that would be great thing to pack for the trip.

Good Totals!
