An Ugly Old B....ch
I gotcha on the green eyed jealousy. 57 years old headed to 58 in a few months. I love the young people I work with though, but I don't envy their student loans. OMG!

I am envious of the young folks at the gym. No baggy arms, tight butts. But I am there and sometime using the same weights they are. Even with my bionic pieces.

I really don't envy the young folks now-a-days. They have a long hard road ahead of them, and who knows what will happen in this world?
I never use the word Jealousy - but I DO use envious. But when I start to get those feelings, I stop and think about all I am blessed with. We can't have it all, all the time.
But I too chased too many pizzas and fried food in my day. Now I look at fried food and go "ugh - that will make me SICK!!!" And glad it does!!

I wouldn't go back if you paid me...I earned the right to be where I am today!
And while some may say I wasted my years, I don't think of it that way...if I had made different choices along the way, I would NOT be the person I am now and I LIKE WHO and WHERE I am now.
I am not a bit jealous of the younger kids...I envy them their energy but would not do it all over again.
Besides, didn't you know that 70 is the new 50, which makes me closer to 30 in how I act than almost 60...(59 this coming birthday).

Wait wait wait. If 70 is the new 50, then 38 is the new 18, and I really, really don't want to be 18 again.
