Slow and steady wins the race.
A month ago I was 197lbs. Not the highest weight since my backslide (that was 206). But I digress, today I weighed in at 191.5. And, I couldn't be more pleased. I know that this slow and steady weight loss means success in the long term. I'll just keep trucking along.
My goal is 170 (my lowest post surgery). However I would be pleased of course with 150, just not sure its in the cards for me. And, if its not, that's okay too.
So for those of you seeing slow weight loss, keep the faith, keep doing what you are doing, it'll happen! Good luck, I'll root for you if you root for me!!

good for you. Yes, you just keep on keeping on and you get there. I, too, want to get back to where I was, not where I am. We can cheer each other on together.

Congrats Lauren....that is awesome...each pound down is a celebration. I am two years out and have had a little bounce back and am working on trying to get a few pounds down too. It is so trying!!! I am back in the gym....it has been hard lately as I have been so tired after work. I have my 2 year surgeon appt this weel and am looking forward to seeing what my labs are as I wonder if my iron is low. I hate not wanting to work out after work so trying to incorporate short amts of activity in if I have to. Was at the gym this morning and that felt good. I adore sleep so getting up before work isnt an option!

I usually get up early for the gym. My boyfriends stays over here often and needs to get to work early, so we go to the gym at 5:30am. Crazy right?
My iron was really low and I'm hoping that upping my dose will help my tiredness too.
