love the closet purging

I understand about the shoes & ring too. My shoes are loose so I'll go to my favorite outlet mall after Christmas. As for my wedding ring, well I couldn't wear it for years, my fingers were to big. Now, it is loose.

I had the same problem, my wedding ring got to big and I was afraid to wear it.  I went to a local jewelry store and they put a ring guard on it, it's temporary until I am done loosing weight then I will have it sized right.  Just a thought if you want to wear it now but don't want to have to size it every few months!  It only cost $5!  I hated not wearing my wedding ring.

I sooo need to do this again.  It feels great to clean out items as to big that used to be to small!!   I have been gathering up resale deals in size 10-12-14 and keep them in my basement.  I am currently in a 16.  There are a few consignment stores that have a $1 rack in Traverse City, MI  that I check out every few weeks.  Also our Salvation army has a 47cent color of the week every Saturday. I will never pay retail again lol

We just donated 9 bags of clothes between me and my 9 year old daughter.  I love and hate this problem all at the same time.  Sometimes I get so frustrated that pants I bought two weeks ago don't fit anymore, but there are worse problems to have!

I skipped size 8.

I had a girlfriend go "shopping" in my closet.  There were some things I really liked and didn't want to let go of, but she put it "hey - if it fits me YOU shouldn't be wearing it"... put things in perspective.

I love thrift stores!  I have bought so much stuff there, AND taken back stuff I couldn't wear any longer. 

Yes - listen to your body!  You will end up in the single digits - in no time!
