Cooler weather is here for many of us, so it's time to get outside and move it! I did inventory of my raincoats, wool coats, warm pants, scarves, long johns, cold weather boots, socks and sweaters--I just walk, no special equipment required. Oops, gloves. I need to go looking for those...they're here somewhere in this mess I call an office/computer room/junk room. {sigh}
The message today is rock and roll. Get ready! Prepare! No excuses! Move it!

I shifted my summer and winter wardrobs last week and have been making good use of my cords. I keep a pair of gloves in every coat so I am never without. Not going to get to class tonight because I have company coming so maybe a walk would be a good thing. My plan had been to walk on the days I didn't have an exercise class and couldn't get to the gym but it hasn't happened with this weather. I actually see the beginning of sun out there. Maybe we will actually see it today. Thanks for the nudge.

What happened with your contract? I didn't see an update.
I found my bag of gloves - yea! I looked high and low for them and when I was cleaning out the bedroom found them.
I have WAY too many coats... but that's the way it is. I did get rid of some before I moved. Boots... I have a few pairs, know where 1 is... may need to invest in a new pair this year.
My clothes are still in a state of transition. I have split my wardrobe between MI and VA and am lacking in some things here and there, but I'm really trying NOT to buy too much. I would like so all I have to do is get in the car and go without packing a bag of items I don't have here or there... not sure that will ever happen.
Now walking... I have this wonderful treadmill I've used a handfull of times, but have no where to put it! My intention was to put it in my family room in front of the TV, but it's full already (small room). It would take up half of it... Walking... it's cold outside! Plus I'm not sure where I'd walk to. I live on a small dead end road off of a busy main road. My daughter is 2 miles away and if there was a safe way to walk there, I would. Maybe I need to go check out the fitness center just down the road. Make me get off my duff and out of the house!

I would think you would burn more calories while walking outside just from trying to keep warm.
I hated walking outside so I'm going to try and see if I can force myself to walk inside. There is a long hallway and if no one complains that might work for me. I walked in my basement for 6 months before my surgery but until DD moves more stuff out that isn't an option.

I need new winter stuff...esp boots. I have a great pair but now they are a full size too big...and I had them a bit big to start with so I could wear thick socks!
Did plenty of walking today...but also did plenty of sitting. I'm pooped...just ONE more day of early voting.
