Checking back in

I have been busy recuperating from my mystery illness. (Still no diagnosis) I have logged in more hours in doctor's office waiting rooms than any one person should. I have been going to physical therapy 3 times a week for 2 hours each time! I have also been going to mental therapy twice a week, but some of that has to do with rebuilding my marriage.

But, I can now walk without a cane. I can lift/push 50 lbs. So today I go back to work at full duty! I am a little nervous. It's been 12 weeks.

Thank goodness I am still in my honeymoon phase of WLS. I have been stress eating all this time, but working out at PT and I have only gained back 1 pound. 135 this morning. I have no excuse for that type of behavior so I am logging back in here everyday. You guys are the best support group known to man!

BTW, DH and I are renewing our vows on 11/23 in Vegas. We are stronger and happier than ever before!

Tonya, I am so glad you are doing better. I am sure I would have been stress eating also!! It is easier to get back on plan for me now than before WLS and I know you can do this.
Congratulations to you and your DH.

I've missed you!   So glad your health and love life has improved considerably!  Congrats on the future wedding!!!!

Everyone handles stress differently and I'm with you!  I don't know why things seem better when I put food in my mouth because I know I'm going to be miserable after or at least when I get on the scale but at the time I just can't even reason with myself.  I'm glad you are back and I'm sure it will be easier than before WLS to get that extra pound off and start losing again.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Hi Tonya, I'm sorry you still don't have a diagnosis - that must be so frustrating.

It's sounds like you're doing well despite everything - keep it up and enjoy Vegas!!
