Checking in. We still have power and the trees are upright. Raining, but that's manageable at the moment. I see many of us are getting snow and ice this morning.  Crazies will be out and about, and some are intent on taking advantage of others. Y'all be careful out there.

Just cold and wind here.  Snow was going to be in the mountains but didn't reach this far down.

Just cold and wet here (not snow) however, it is snowing down the road about 30 mins from us.

And YES, the crazies were out yesterday. We lost internet connection to the election commission last night, had to call in EACH AND EVERY voter to verify that they were indeed registered and allowed to vote. At one point we had a line around INSIDE the building...but they all still managed to get in and voted by 8PM. While the computers were down, the actual poll booths were working just fine, cause it's a different system. In spite of having to wait, we had no one grumble when they found out why...down at the other end not ours. And it was the THIRD time it went down but lasted the longest.

Another day, another dollar today. See y'all on the flip side.

Good Morning! I've been watching the news all morning and WOW the damage from the storm is crazy.

I'm Thankful that we didn't get hit hard. Our schools are on a 2 hr. delay and it's still raining but I don't think our little town has much damage. 

I had a vacation day planned for today so DD and I are heading to Pittsburgh shopping after I do DGDs late school bus. 

 

Just thought I would say hi! It's been awhile. Glad you gals on the east coast are okay!

Very windy and rainy here and will continue up this way through the day as of yet we have not lost our power but many have. What's very strange as I read through all your post is how cold it is where you are..................................its so strange here because its so very very warm 62 and rising right now.  Stay safe and take care

Cold, windy, rainy, but still have power and no major damage at the house, just a leaky roof in one spot and the river stopped about 50 feet away from the house.  I will post a pic in my photo album, I don't know how to include it in a message.
