Sunday Weigh In
Last Sunday 160.75lb
Yesterday 157.5lb
Loss 3.25lb!! Yay!!
My food's really not been any different this week. I have increased the amount of cream I have in my coffee and I try and get 2-3 cups a day of decaff although some days I only get one (I only ever used to have one). I think that must be responsible for the seriously large poops I've been having this week (sorry TMI). It could also be because I only lost 0.25lb last week, IDK the weight seems to go when it wants to go!!
I didn't weigh today as I was so happy with yesterday's weight plus I didn't poop 'til right after breakfast today and I'd had 32oz of fluid plus food by then.
BTW last week I said I'd put I love my DS in my signature when I reached 30lbs lost. I thought that was going to be weeks and weeks away. I still can't believe I eat everything i do and still lose weight... I keep waiting for my DS to break LOL and scared my signature may in fact cause my DS to break! ;)

LOL on breaking the DS...VERY hard to do.
I hear you on going after breakfast. Adding the extra fat does make a big difference.

After I walked into my closet on Monday and tried on pants I haven't worn since last winter and the button & button holes were inches apart and skin tight....I had a huge reality check that was very upsetting. All those boxes of Little Debbie Banana cakes, chips, pasta, bread and lack of exercise slapped in down really hard. The scale had not moved that much, but the weight redistribution was shocking - so much so I noticed it when I was getting into the shower on Monday and that's what made me go into my closet when I finished my shower.
This week I've been focused, working out and walking. I've also been decarbing.
Thank you for the comment...I need that. I will not try on my pants again though. I will be 3 years post op on Nov 17th and I'll do it then. One of the pants I cannot wear are the ones I'm wearing in my avatar. Those pants and the others will be my measuring stick. While I was able to actually button them, I had to walk around like a mummy practically.
This is a life long process, and I cannot eat sweets every single day like I had been doing. I am not a dumper...I know if I was it would be helpful.
It's great that you can make things work so well at 3 years out. I can't get away with pasta or much flour at all as it gives me gas. I can get away with a little agave, but I've not really tried to push anything yet other than flour - most breaded chicken gets me although McDonald's chicken selects have been OK so far I think they sneak through with the sour cream, mmm may have to have them on Monday!! ;)
Potato seems to be fine, but if I do protein first then I don't have much room left. I've not tried rice yet.

I am very carb sensitive, weight wise. When I regularly eat them, I gain. I've also learned after essentially sitting on my behind with out exercising for over one month, my body will redistribute weight. This is the most sedentary I've been post op and a real learning experience. My first year post op I did not touch rice, potatoes, bread (once, maybe twice) pasta (I think once or twice), chips, nothing "white." I did not touch surger for 12 months because I did not know if I was a dumper and was really afraid to try. Then at 1 year post op the Holidays came. I had surgery 1 week before Thanksgiving 2009, so Thanksgiving 2010 was when I first tried sweets. To my dismay...I did not dump.
That is why I love this forum. I love the support, the accountability we receive, the weekly weighins. It makes all the difference in the world
Good going, dasie...I know you are getting back into it.
