Storm Updates....Please!
I went to Whole Foods with Son#2 this morning while DH went to the regular grocery store. It was already kind of crowed at WF at 8:15. DH said the shelves were already picked over and the snack food aisle was nearly empty. They are going combat shopping at Walmart, Total Wines and the ABC store this morning. I'm staying home and doing laundry where it's safe. I've already put the suet and bird seed out for the birds, and I've cleaned all the bathrooms. I'm planning on making a big pot of beefy veggie soup today and BBQ ribs tomorrow.
Everyone stay safe and be prepared!

It is horrible here in NJ. The stores are out of everything!! we were down the shore today for family photos and it was windy, but otherwise nice However, the evacuations (voluntary) at this point have started. I think the Casinos in Atlantic City are closing at noon tomorrow. We are under state of emergency at this point and need to stay off the roads.
Still getting conflicting stories on when it will hit us. but we are as prepared as we can be. I hope everyone stays safe.

We are too far south and inland to get a big hit but it is rainy and cold. We will be fine. Hope everyone else will.

At least you aren't out in it.
Stay safe.
Oh, and we got snow in the mountains last night...not common this early in the year.

I work for the state of NJ and they called us off thank goodness. I really didn't want to go in in this mess. I don't know about tomorrow yet, hoping because what a mess that will be at the end of the storm and after. :(
And the bridges, I don't know if the bridges will be open for me to get to work but since I my surgery took most of my time, I don't have a lot left. We will see.
Its rainy an windy here in Levittown Pa.
Not looking forward to the brunt of this storm to hit us. I picked up water and canned foods (which some family members already tapped into **** me off) and 3 bags of ice, milk and bread. Oh and Charcoal and throw away tins to cook in on grill if we loose power. We lost power once for 4 days and I cooked on the grill and picked up dry ice to keep our fridge and freezer. If our electric goes out we will be getting more dry ice if we can find it. God willing.
I have been doing laundry and dishes to keep up with it. Since I don't have a lot of clothes to wear since most are too big.
Hope these ideas helped.
They closed our office mid-morning but son#2 is still at work. The wind is picking up and some hard rain just passed through. That's about it so far.
