Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

It's going to be in the mid 80's here today...so why am I taking a vacation day next week when it's dropping to the low 40's......

It's beautiful here today but is suppose to get colder again over the weekend.  It is fall after all.  Got my first aid and CPR done today so that is over for 2 yrs.  Hurray.  Got a short ride in with Poppy.

We have to get 12 hrs. Of training every year and my year starts over on Nov. 1st. Fortunately the state has been making so many changes I have been getting credit hours for those trainings.

I've found it doesn't take to much salt to move the scales in the wrong direction.

Oh yes, winter's on it's way... 2 months 'til Christmas!!

I think the 80s were the start of a lot of diet fads and mistruths... all that propaganda just messes with your head to the point of no longer knowing what a sensible diet is (I know WW wasn't it for me even though I'd get to goal, I'd be famished by end and then bounce back!!).

I only did well on WW one time. It was when they had the exchanges. I kept it off for awhile and then they switched plans and insisted we switch too. I was young and stupid and i just couldnt adjust. I should have stuck with what worked for me. Just like after WLS everyone has to do what's best for them.
