I was walking every day at lunch but one of my "customers" is rather demanding and lately I've been working through lunch instead. Sigh.

Also, it was raining yesterday. Though I did walk to and from the BART station. Does that count? LOL

Rainy, cloudy, misty today.  Will hit the upper 60's (warm for here) and hit the mid 70's for the next 2 days (real nice for here!).  I wish I could get some exercise in.  I've got my treadmill out in the garage and was resigned to put it in the shed - I just don't know where I'd put it in here.

I'll get out tomorrow and Thurs and get some outside work done - get the garage cleaned out (again) and hopefully see my car in it soon.

Headed to a doctor's appointment to follow up with the Nova Sure in what we here in the So Cal high desert call "down the hill" as it is about an hour away down the Cajon pass. If all is well, I plan on stopping at the local ice rink and try a couple of hours. I haven't been since about two weeks pre-op for my VSG. I don't get to go often as it is so far away & when I make it down the hill, the sessions usually don't work out. But, since I am 25 pounds lighter than I was the last time I went, it will be interesting to see how my balance is doing.

Today is also my last day of medical leave. I head back to work tomorrow. I'm not really looking forward to it, I know I will have a lot of stuff to catch up on and fix. My sub is quite competent, it is the other coordinator who usually wrecks things, my sub can't fix those issues. So, I have 5 1/2 weeks of his goof ups to work on, oh goodie.

Hope you got your steps in today Gina.  I didn't get any in....  I did get off work early today to pick up DGD#2 from dance.  My parents are here so we all went out for supper.
Work, work, work that is all I feel like I am doing these days.

Did you get your contract yet??

Dh and I kept swapping...I'd sit and he'd stand/walk...then after about an hour or so, we'd swap places. That way neither of us got super tired of doing one thing.

David (the guy who is in charge of our location) had us do that today, worked well, so he is gonna keep us doing it.

We had 3 of the machines in one line go down today...so we had to funnel everybody away from that line and get it going again. Once they rebooted the system, it came back on. The other alternative would have been to take the three "bad" machines out of the line completely and get replacements.

Good luck Lee on your interview!

I have been walking 1-2 miles during my lunch hr (we have a 1 mile track around our hospital with the view of the mtns)...been back at this regularly but not doing any other work outs.  I feel endlessly guilty about this so need to get back into a serious work out routine....I know this is a key to maintenance....motivation is an issue.  I know though that the walking is good and guilt isnt...I need to let go of this feeling...
