Hey Gina!

I'm countertop shopping again today. Went yesterday to a local design shop and got a price for laminate countertops that shocked me. It was the same price I got from a local Granite place. Today I'm going to Home Depot or Lowes and will get a price from them.

Unpacking. The house has come along wonderfully and I'm to the point where I can now unpack without worrying about getting stuff in the way. Trying to figure out furniture placement - I know that would be a challenge.

This week is going to be in the 70's here - can you say "Indian Summer"? I have a sunroom I want to paint and pretty much figured it wouldn't happen until next summer - I'm going to try and take advantage of the warm weather to get it done this week.

Guess I'd better get moving... Be way to easy to just sit here and get nothing done...

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so

Too bad you don't live down here, Jody...we pay $5 a foot for them at the Rail Salvage place here. Good luck finding some you like.

DD did her counter tops in Laminte and her bar in Quartz.....black with siver sparkles. The Quartz is beautiful! We found out that Lowes and Home Depot were a lot more expensive than a store that sells a lot of counter tops. The big box stores sell the counter tops cheaper but their labor and materials were twice as much.
