Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

DD and family moved out yesterday.  I had a few tearfull moments when she first called me.  They were planning on moving everything big yesterday and then gradually move everything else. I can't blame them at all but it was a shock to DH and I to come home to an empty house.  It was probably best this way...why prolong it? I'm sitting here wondering how the boys did in their new rooms.  I already called the carpet cleaner and I told him to bring extra cleaning stuff because it is really bad.  I keep looking at how empty the rooms are and I wonder "What used to be in that spot before they moved in".   

Scales are holding steady at 118.  I'm going to decarb my kitchen after I sweep places that haven't been swept for over 3.5 years. I ordered my Matrix Mint Cookie and since it has already shipped I'm hoping for delivery on Monday.

Roz, sending big hugs your way! I hope that each day gets a little easier. I know that even when Zach is home for a week or ten days, I walk around missing him. We are so fortunate that our kids bring us joy.



I'll keep you company in here. I'm two weeks post plastic revisions. I'm hungry all the time needing more calories and protein to heal. I ate more carbs than usual the last two weeks and want to taper off.

Awww Roz - (((HUGS))).  Hard enough being an empty nester the first time, but for the final time...  I talked to my son yesterday and come Christmas it will be 1 year since I've seen him. THEN he let me know he will be spending the holidays with his DAD... really?  After all I do for him?  I thought about pulling the plug then, but oh well... what we do for our kids. 

B - went out - steak/eggs/home fries (I ate a lot this morning - didn't feel the fullness, then my nose started running and I started burping)
L - nothing (late bfast)
D - some really scrawny chicken wings.. not really worth eating, but I ordered them.

Don't remember what I ate on Sat but wanted to let you know it won't take long and you will enjoy some peace and quiet.  I promise.  And aren't they just next door?  It will be ok, I promise.
