Newbie....Getting Sleeved on Wednesday
This is my first post but I've been reading the various forums for months. I am scheduled to be sleeved on Wednesday, October 10th and thanks to OH and all of you I'm ready for surgery. It was a long road getting here (I started the process back in August 2011) but I'm very happy it's finally here.
Like many of you I've struggled with my weight all my life. I've tried every diet out there. Successful on some not so much on others. I've been on BP & cholesterol meds for over 15 years. I had a heart attack 2 years ago, fortunately no damage to my heart and a total hip relacement 4 months later.
I like to exercise and really enjoy water aerobics. I'm not comfortable putting on a bathing suit right now but I think I'll make that one of my short-term goals.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I just wish Wednesday would hurry up and get here. Wish me luck. You will be hearing more from me. I'll post a picture once I learn how. : )
