don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but I just don't think about weight loss that much.  It's been just over a year (on the 14th) and I don't think I even gave that much thought.

I would like to lose more and I am slowly.  I've lost almost 70lbs with I guess about 30 ish to go but I'm not hung up on it.   I weigh almost every day though, to make sure I don't start creeping up.  I haven't been excercising much the past few months which bothers me.  I went back to school to finish my BA and that takes up most of my time and what's left is my role as a mother.  It's an excuse though, I should find time to excercise.

Truth be told I should be there right now instead of typing this in between studying.  I take my vits. but think I eat too many carbs which I really ought to cut back on.  I don't binge on them but bread is figuring into my diet very regularly even though it is obviously a small amount per serving.

Generally though, I'm pretty happy.  I guess I just wanted to drop in and say hey.

Congrats to you for being back and for completing your BA.  Going to school with young children is difficult.  I enrolled in college for the first time after my girls were born.  It is not easy.  You're still in the losing phase, so like you said, watching your carbs, etc., will make a difference.

I went for my 4 year "check up" with Dr Mo a month ago - he really stressed cutting back on carbs.  It had been 3 years since I was there last....

My one year appointment is on the 18th I think. I should come back here more often to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Our dates are pretty close, my RNY was 9-9-10.  I got to goal in the first year and have maintained by staying low carb.  It works if you work it.  Try to get those last #s off before 18months because the malabsorption really does seem to make a difference, or it did with me.  Start posting on M&M and we will help you.
