I read a post where you all were saying what you were grateful for. I didn't add anything that day, but I was jus****ching yet another " promise this pill will make you lose weight or your money back" commercial. I just felt so grateful and relieved, that I don't live hoping that commercial is real, that maybe this pill will work ect.. I can now watch and believe they are tricks and lies and scams praying on the overweight. I now see the truth in WL. With or with out surgery we still need portion control, clean eating , and exercise. It feels good to be out if the grips of hoping this pill will work or wondering for days about that commercial and thinking maybe it can work for me . I love the freedom I feel and have now. I love my tool.
Good one, Nikki. I'm grateful for for OH vets in my formative years as a newbie post-op. There were several folks 3,4,5,6 and more years out and they taught me how to be successful. And, I'm grateful for Vitalady who started posting on the DS board when I was a few months post-op.

absolutely!!! I hate those commercials but now can know that I never have to even think about that route again.
I am grateful for DH who has stood with me with my WLS, knee and all the other stuff. And grateful that a friend has loaned me a pony to show this weekend while Chili recoups.
