Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!   

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Eating my lunch and the hiccups started.  I guess I should have only eaten 3/4 of my Salmon Cake. Feeling really full.  I'm so happy my tool is still working!!!!

Spent the morning with Chili and the vet. He has a bruised foot and can't go to the clinic this weekend but hopefully will be ok for the show the next weekend. Boo hiss. Oh well, Poppy and I will go and have fun. Now balancing checkbooks, such fun today I can hardly stand it.

I've been balancing my DDs bank book and paying her bills for the last 3 years.  If I wouldn't have done it they would have never had the 20% they needed for the down payment on their new house.  I turned everything over to her a couple of weeks ago and today they signed up for a Dave Ramsey financial class.  I'm so happy my policing them is almost over!!!

 Hi Roz!  I've been fighting with sinus issues and I think it has been affecting my appetite.  Went to dinner last night and ate 3 chicken wings and a pickle spear... I was full.  

B - coffee and a skinny wheat bagel
L - some breaded Tysons type of chicken wings - UGH - felt bad after.  Glad they're gone
S - a glass of milk that REALLY made me feel bad - what's up with that?
D- BBQ chicken and about 5 slices of green fried tomatoes

Vits:  yes
Water:  I really need to do better.

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so

B: premier vanilla protein shake
L: chocolate caramel powerbar
S: v8 low sodium 5.5 ounce can
S: 100 calorie pack guacamole and handful of tostitos scoops
D: grilled chicken on flatout foldit with goat cheese and tabouleh
D2/snack: PB&J on arnold healthful whole wheat bread (this stuff is good! and only 90 calories for 2 slices. And they're smaller so I use less PB and jelly too)

My fitness pal says I'm at 1325 for today. I'm happy with that. Drank plenty of water too, though that's never a problem. I'm starting to not drink water while eating and it's weirding me out. I sometimes forget so starting a couple of days ago I eat standing up at the kitchen counter just to remind myself that I'm doing something differently. If I'm sitting down I found that I often went to automatically ge****er! That's one of those things that I didn't think about before but turned out to be challenging. Glad I'm practicing now pre-op. Someone on the RNY board suggested I start practicing and I thought "pfft I can do that." Hahaha no I can't! Not without practice.

I grew up in a house hold that didn't have fluid on the table of any kind.  GDaddy was a Dr and didn't want folks washing their food down.  So it wasn't a problem for me but it is for lots of folks.  Sit and make your meal as normal as you can, just don't have fluid there.  I find if it is there, like in a resturant, I tend to reach for it.  If it isn't there, I don't miss it.
