Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Over the hump day.  I had to wear long pants and a sweater today.  It's pretty cold out but the rain has stopped.   I have to run errands at lunch time so I will be eating on the run.

What's your favorite healthy snack?

Hi Roz!!! my fave is a co-jack stick or pizza chips. I use sandwich pepperoni w cheese for my chips. Dip in pizza sauce for extra yum! They reheat well in the microwave.

Do the pepperoni's get a little crunchy in the microwave?  I love co-jack cheese too.  I can only take 1 with me to work so I can't go back for more.

It is strange how the weeks drag sometimes but the months seem to fly buy.

What kind of PB cookies and muffins do you use?

Kirmy's recipe.  It's the same for both, they're just in a different mould.  You can replace most of the agave with SF syrup though and sometimes I have 2 or 3 eggs if the mix looks a bit dry.

one large egg

a teaspoon of baking soda
two and a bit tablespoons of almond meal/flour
a massive glug of agave nectar (about 3-4 tablespoons of more if you have a violent sweet tooth like me 6....sorry)
a full cup of peanut butter
two shakes of cinnamon

Mix them together then wet you hands and roll them into balls and stick them on a cookie tray and stick it in a medium over for 10mins. Let them cool for a bit on the tray as they are quite squishy at first then cool them on a rack to harden up.

As soon as I catch up on some posts I'm going to make some more flourless PB cookies and I'm going to try adding the applesauce.  I think I'm going to add some ginger too.

I have always been a snacker but like you  I try to choose healthy snacks now.  Most of the time my meals are more like snacks than meals.
