Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Rainy Tuesday.  I actually had to wear dress pants to work today because it is chilly here.  So glad they fit me and I didn't have to buy new ones. I have to admit I hated passing my compfy capris up for a pair fitted  long pants.

Exact same menu as yesterday.

My DH is probaly loving the rain.  He would much rather work in the rain than the heat or snow so I try not to complain about it but getting wet isn't my favorite feeling.

I need to get some eggbeaters.  Regular eggs make me feel stuck and I do miss eating them.

Sounds Good!

Hi Roz.  I was reading somewhere that people who eat the same things consistently tend to control their weight better.  While they may find it boring, they get into a routine and that's a good thing.  I suppose that's only true if it's good for you food - lol..  Those who eat at McD's may tend to disagree.

As you can see I don't eat the same things everyday and am NOT a planner...

Cool here today too - I put jeans on but am having a hard time putting on shoes... I love wearing sandals.

I've got some sinus crud.. ugh... either I'm all icky and can't breathe or I take something (sudafed) and it keeps me awake.  Was a rough night last night sleeping.  Tonight is Nyquil....

B - coffee
L - frozen chicken things.  They're gone now.  last few times I ate them they affected my sugar..
D - idk

Vits:  yes
water:  ok - not great

Go to the health food store and get some allium cepa.  My chiro suggested that last year and it really works.  No drugged feeling but clears up the runny or stuffy nose.

My DH had terrible allergies and  always gotten sinus headaches until he started taking Claritan every day.   I hope you start feeling better!

Until recently I never prepared anything ahead but I started making my Salmon cakes, pizza chips, and PB cookies ahead and freezing them in individual baggies. It's just easier in the mornings to grab something I know is healthy.

Well today was crazy. Never got time to eat breakfast and then for lunch we had a party for a coworker at the office. I'm not sure of the nutritional value of what I ate but will see what I can manage with myfitnesspal here in a few. I took home a plate with small portions of a few things for dinner and may or may not have a snack later. Overall none of it was awful except for the big peice of cake that sent me into a food coma later in the afternoon

B: nada
L: beef chipolte taco with cottage cheese and tomatoes on top, spoonful of potato salad, 1/2 chicken fajita, scoop of pad thai, scoop of some sort of mexican lasagna-ish dish
S: cake!
D: beef chipolte filling and cottage cheese, spoonful of potato salad, scoop of pad thai

Roz I saw your response in yesterday's thread just now. I don't have a surgery date yet, I'm in month 4 of my pre-op program at kaiser and if all goes well will finish in November and then get referred to the surgeon.
