We haven't done this for a while and we have lots of new folks so here are some intoduction questions

1.  What kind of surgery and when?

2.  What part of the country do you live in?

3.  Who lives with you?  Family, extended family?

4.  How is your life changing with the change of seasons?

me first

1.  I had RNY 2 yrs ago this week.  I met goal the first year and have maintain since then.

2.  I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Western North Carolina

3.  I live with DH (dear hubby for the newbees) and my DS comes home every weekend to visit.  He is developementally disabled and lives in a group home but is DH's best playmate.  They golf and bowl all weekend.

4.  Fall is a very busy time for me with my horses.  When the weather cools off, the shows and events start up.  I have a clinic next weekend, show the next, then a camping trip in Oct and another show in early Nov.  Busy, busy.  I love the cooler weather although I don't feel the heat like I used to when I was heavy.  I also have planted my fall garden so should be getting greens soon.

 Hi,
1. Surgery will be DS as soon as the insurance approves it!

2. I live on the East coast of Maine.

3. Just my husband of 36 years and I.

4. Been pulling out the plants in the garden and using some heat now. Work is slowing down with the tourist season getting over with. This is my big sigh time of year to relax a bit after a long summer.

DH and I headed in your direction a few years ago camping.  We didn't take enough time off, just 16 days and so we didn't get to stay long but I would love to come back some day.  I hear the carriage trails in Arcadia are beautiful.

We walk the carriage trails, hubby I and the dogs but I normally only go into Acadia in the off season. Fall and spring is my favorite time to do that. You will have to all come back and visit again!

I'm with you loving the cooler weather.  We have had our air off for about a week now and it is so nice to just have fresh air instead of processed air.

I had the DS Jan 24, 2011.

Live in eastern TN but next Sept (2013) will be moving to the Asheville, NC area.

It's on my husband and I. He also had the DS which makes cooking easy. However we do have 7 cats and 3 dogs living with us...whole passle of four legged children.

In the summer, esp this year, I have stayed in more than normal...mosquitoes are my enemy...they love to bite me. But once the weather turns, I am out more.

Liz

4. At almost 2 months post op & down a few lbs I'm starting to be a happy bunny. Guess it's easier to workout when it's not so hot, but I didn't get up to much over the summer, just recovering!

My DD spent her Jr yr in college in London and I got to visit for a week.  What a lovely place.  We spent a few days in London, some time in the countryside then a week in Paris.  It was a great trip and I wish I could do it again.
