Good Morning. Dangit!
POLL QUESTION:
What is the latest and most interesting study or article you've read about WLS, nutrition, vitamins, conditions resulting from WLS, etc? Our next support group meeting will be to share a study or article we think is relevant and passes the common sense and not to obvious tests. Got one or more to share? Opinions about articles welcome. Please post a link.

As far as articles go, nothing pops into my head, but there is a Bariatric medical site that you had made me aware of, that I enjoy reading some of the articles from. I'll see if I can find it on my computer at home.

I get Sparkpeople online and there are articles there each morning. Not necessarily WLS related but fitness/weighloss related. it's been ages since I have read a WLS article. Looking forward to what others have been reading.
Want to drive a pony then meetings all afternoon. found out last night at Zumba that my club now has a water Zumba. the way my knees hurt this morning, I may need to try that this evening. I just hate to do another evening class, exp one that I will be wet at the end and have to shower and change instead of just heading home. We'll see.

Never had pink eye, so I don't know what you are going through but I do know its not fun. I am sorry you got it :( Right before the weekend too, GAH!
Well, my addiction lately has been vitamin books and pregnancy books. I really want to be a mom and I want to be very healthy before that happens. It won't happen for another year or so but I am being overly prepared. Vitamin books are fun to look into and see how things affect you, very interesting.
I'm traveling today so I'm loaded up and heading out in just a minute. I won't be bac****il late this afternoon. WOW, we had a lot of books to deliver out today. I guess that could be my exercise today!!
I can't think of any articles, I pretty much read fiction books-romance & mystery. I do click on the links that some of you provide here and read some of those. I bet you could find a good vitamin link that you have shared with us in the past.
Hope everyone has a good day today.

As to articles, the one I found most interesting was one that was done by endocrinologists. It mentions reactive hypoglycemia, but most bariatric sugeons did not read it, apparently. jcem.endojournals.org/content/94/3/709.full.pdf
Then there is this article by Dr. Roslin: www.lenoxhillhospital.org/press_releases.aspx
There was also this article on NSAIDS: bariatrictimes.com/2010/01/21/marginal-ulcers-after-roux-en- y-gastric-bypass-pain-for-the-patient%E2%80%A6pain-for-the-s urgeon/
