Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!   

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Do you still get "FAT FEARS"?  That's what I called it when I got on my first ride at the Amusement Park on Saturday.  I got the worst feeling that the ridessafety strap wouldn't go around me.  It must have really shown on my face because 2 of my DD's asked me what was wrong at the same time.  I told them I just had a FAT FEAR  and then I felt the tears coming.  DH thought I was being foolish but my DD's were sympathetic and encouraging.

Yes I still have Fat Fears.  I keep thinking I'm going to wake up and be the size I was before surgery and this has all been a dream!!!  I'm glad your DD's were sympathetic with you.

I'm not glad you still have Fat Fears but I'm sure happy that I'm not the only one.  Yes, my girls were sympathetic but they still don't understand like my LW's do.

Do you buy Fajita seasoning?

I do use the Fajita seasoning.  I cut up green, red & yellow bell peppers and an onion and mix it in cooked stew beef.  It is really good.

I'm going to have to try that.  I need to start experimenting more.  I'm getting so bored with the same protein foods all of time and I think that's what makes me wonder to things that aren't as healthy.

i have fat fears all the time when I pull out clothes I haven't worn in a while, just knowing they won't fit. I also have times when I start dreading some exercise, like walking from one place to another, then remember that I can do that now with no issues.

I rode Poppy this morning and have zumba this evening.

I get the clothes fear almost every morning when I pull a pair of underwear out of the drawer.  They must have a lot of stretch in them....LOL.  I had a fat fear when I got out a pair of dress pants that I hadn't worn since cooler weather and I did the happy dance when they zipped right up.

Some of your fair about walking might have something to do with getting your knee fixed.  Does it bother you at all?

We all can relate to that fear!  That's probably the first fear that we have all experienced.  Most of us probably had that one even while we were preparing for WLS because of the number of times we have gained and lost.

I'm seeing alot of Protein today!!  Good for you!
