I actually went ahead and ordered some samples from Vitalady today. I got the Roadside Lemonade, the Lemon Tea, the Twisted Cherry and the Fuzzy Navel to try, oh, and the Lemon Calcet Creamy Bites.
I'm going to have to back off the carbs and if I'm under 1,000 calories a day than so be it. I don't want to fall back into bad habits just to boost my calories higher if physically I am healthier and don't need the extra.
I see my doc in about 2 weeks so I will try this until than and see how I do. He is much more open-minded than the Dietitians seem to be lol. I will get his input too when I go.

I have never increased my calories purposely through carbs. That is definitely NOT the way to go! That's going to lead to bad habits, cravings, hunger, mood swings, slowed weight loss and weight gain!!!!!!!
I'm not even sure 1000 calories at 4 months out is a wise choice but if you are going to do it then add more protein not carbs.
I do post every month or so on fitday.com just to see how I'm doing and so I can answer posts about how much I eat but my every day goal is to drink at least 4 protein drinks (100+ grams) and go low carb.
At almost 4 years out I still only eat around 1300 calories and that includes my Protein Drinks.

I know you've asked me a few questions about my motorcycle lately. I read them on my phone, but I can't reply there.... Yes, I picked up and have been riding my new motorcycle. I love it! Now I'm finding a place to keep it here in VA. I'll be moving within a few weeks and lots of stress going on with that!

Hmm - protein. Probably not. I do concentrate on eating protein first, but I haven't had a protein shake in quite awhile. My surgeon said my protein is good and I don't need protein shakes anymore because I seem to be absorbing well enough - but we ALL know better than that, right?
So no - probably not enough protein and I need to incorporate more into my diet, thus the flavoring of the greek yogurt with protein powder, instead of making it a drink!
