Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!   

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

It's 5 minutes to 3:00
and I'm just having my first Protein Drink and Posting M&M......  We got home really late from the amusement park.  It turned out to be a beautiful day.  We had to wear jackets but we were all very comfortable.  The rain must have scared off a lot of people and so there wasn't any lines.

This morning we had to leave at 7:00 because our Beautiful 7 yr. old Granddaughter got Baptized.

Sounds like a wonderful and busy day for you! Just doin some fencing today, well this morning. Now it's too hot , so I left my wonderful other half out there to finish. He's wonderful! Well hope the week goes fast, I'm already looking forward to the next weekend . I seriously live for he weekends! Have a great afternoon!

I have now OD'd on tiramisu - well I felt fine until I knocked back a glass of crystal light LOL :haha:

S ½ PB cookie (4g) (really cut back the agave and used Starbucks SF vanilla syrup, will prob try no agave in next batch)

Good Protein total but it could be a little higher since you are getting all of your Protein from food.

Yes weekends seem to be worse - partly coz I get out bed later (so less time to eat) and the duck wasn't that high, I should be getting ~30g per meal. I got 135g today and I think I'll do well the rest of the week... must have more protein on weekends!

Thank you Roz. BTW how much protein are RNYers meant to have, I'm just curious. TIA.

I'm home after a great long weekend camping and driving my pony.  I had a great time on the trails with Chili, some really productive lessons with a clinician and a trail ride on a friend's pony.  And wonderful friends and meals.  Too many deserts but I am home and ready to get back on track.

Hi Roz,
We are home.  It was a beautiful wedding and we had a blast at the reception last night.  I'm so proud of DH's nephew.  He has had such a hard life and has done so good.  His dad passed away a few years ago and then his mom had a major stroke about 2 years ago and is in a nursing home(she will probably never be able to live anywhere else unless they had 24 hour nursing care).  She got to come to the wedding.  It was so good to see her.  He and his new wife have taken such good care of her - his dad would be so proud of him.

So, I had lots of great foods this week, but did so in moderation.  I haven't weighed since Friday morning - I'll have to get on the scales in the morning and see how it looks-LOL!!

B:  3/4 biscuit w/ sausage gravy, 1 over easy egg
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  Insides of Arby's roast beef sandwich w/ bbq sauce

Miles:  Well - we rode 300+ miles - guess that doesn't count though-haha

He sounds like a Son to be Proud of!  That's so nice that she got to come to the wedding.  My Mom's mind is going more every week.  When DD moves out the beginning of October I am hoping I can get her to come and live with us.  I'm probably dreaming but I'm also hoping that being around us every day will help.
