Well, the last time I remembered to post on 8/26, I was 194

I had been holding pretty steady as is my pattern (which I hope surgery will change), but this weekend, I indulged in a few "last meal" type treats. I was gone for the weekend to a professional development seminar, so I didn't have a scale. This was not a good surprise this morning. I will be working hard to get this off over the next few days. 

I will most likely not have a post next week. I probably won't be home from the hospital until sometime Sunday. After that, I hope the number just keeps going down for a while.

Didn't do as well as I would've liked while traveling with the protein but I pretty much stayed on track with my food choices. I've been bouncing between 174 & 175 these last two weeks : (

I feel like I'm losing sooooo slow.

At 2 lbs a week, that's 8 lbs a month and that is NOT a slow amount to lose for lightweights, esp after the first 3 months...we do tend to slow down around that point.

You are doing good...don't let the scale rule your life, just be aware of it.

It's been two weeks...so only 1 lb per week. Do you think it's possible that I'm not getting in enough calories?

It's possible but if you add any, make it protein (or a protein shake). Avoid protein bars unless you read the ingredients VERY carefully...most hide artificial sugars in them to make them taste better.
