Hi everyone...

I have my sleeve.  It is so exciting to actually get the surgery.  Surgery and hospital were uneventful, except that I got bronchitis while there, and I coughed the first night all night long.. They put me on a Z pack and I feel much better.

Did anyone here come back after being in the hospital for a 1 day 7 pounds heavier?  I would guess it would be water retention becuse of the IV's?

These gas pains in the chest make me crazy cause it is almost  like the pain of when I had my heart attack.  but it passes quickly where with the heart attack it started and never went away until the stent was placed.

We are goin to take off do my recooperating at our cabin in the North Ga. Mountains. I plan to go back to work a week from monday but work from home.... so that will be nice.

I have a wonderfully supportive husband, who was against it untill he knew I was serious about it, and attended a couple of seminars, and support groups with me. All this change is helping him too... and he has lost 7 poundsso far... He only needs to loose about 25 more so he is well on his way!

Hope everyone has a great labor day weekend!

Welcome home! :)

Sounds like everything is going as it should. Yep, the water weight is from the IVs. Have an easy time in the mountains.

Welcome to the loser's bench. Yeap, water weight from fluids is a witch but does go away.

Keep sipping, walking and resting...let everyone else wait on you right now.

Walking will help the gas.  Walk, sip, rest, repeat.  You sound like you are doing great and will get better each day.  Welcome to the loser's bench.
