I go to bed at around 8PM, so I'm always interested to see what I missed when I get up at o'dark thirty. Here are a few links from last night I think are worth reading:

Great reviews on this flourless bread. I think I'm going to try it today and I'll let you know how it tastes.

http://www.chikenutrition.com/buy-chike.html  Coffee flavored Chike? Whey protein isolate? Individual servings? Hmmm...sounds very interesting.

That bread does sound amazing.  I don't have any natural pb but will have to try it.  I have never tried the pb cookies that are flourless either but they sure do sound good.

It's really Friday and it is really Labor day weekend?  Wow, where did the summer go.  I have a camping trip with the pony next week to plan for.  Leaving Wed for Catoosa Ridge in Crossville Tenn.  for a long weekend.  A competition tomorrow in SC I have to pack the trailer to leave at 7am.  Farrier coming this morning.  And of course, work inbetween.  busy, busy.

Wave towards the south when you go thru Knoxville...we are just slightly south of I40 where it goes thru downtown.

Have a good trip.

Well, DUH, on the low carb diet...something we knew LONG ago!

I've tried natural peanut butter...I can't get past the taste. Just taste foul to me...and yet others love it.

But I've been making my own bread for a year now. Best way I know to control what is in it. Altho too many carbs cause bloat, I am not gluten sensitive so I don't have to eliminate that out of my diet. I just cut WAY down. I also flavor my bread with honey instead of suar (altho you still need a bit of sugar to get the yeast to rise). Honey doesn't have the same effect on my blood sugars that sugar does.

I have a new grandniece...that makes baby number 8 in my daddy's side of the family. Two girls and SIX boys this year. Two grand-boys, one niece, one grandniece, and 4 boy cousins. I told dh if I wasn't fixed, *I* would have probably come up pregnant this year...there is something in the air/water/etc.

Wow - that sounds awesome.  Let me know how you like it.

I wouldn't mind trying it but don't think I have a loaf pan... I'll have to look.

As far as the Chike (or any sample packet sizes) I buy them with the good intention of using them, for some reason I just don't.  I don't know if it is because of the mess I make with them or what.

Thanks for that link Gina! I have an unopened jar of natural peanut  butter that's been sitting around forever. Now I know what to do with it!  I definitely will have to freeze slices so that I don't eat them all at once.  The calories for two slices are pretty high.

Pease post results if you make it!  😃

Thanks for the links Gina!

I'm always on the lookout for good recipes.  I use a reduced fat or sugar peanut butter I wonder if that would work or if it would have to be natural.  Years ago I made my own peanut butter, but don't even know if I could remember how I did it.

I do much better low carb.  I've been experimenting with the Almond Flour and really like most of the results.  I want to go to a speciality store in the next town if I ever make it over there and see what kinds of things they have to cook/bake with.  I can't even find unsweetened coconut around here...

I was wondering about the low fat also.  One of the comments mentioned crunchy.  What I have is low fat crunchy.  May try it in muffins.

I made the peanut butter cookies that is similar to the bread today with low fat crunchy peanut butter.  I don't have anything to compair them to but they are very good.  I put them in the freezer like Roz has suggested or I knew I would eat way too many.
