Normal is relative... we all have work to make ourselves "normal" according to various guidelines!!

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Now, I agree, normal feels fantastic...the really HARD part is convincing your brain that what you see in the mirror is normal. I still see FAT.

Dh's cousin (who grew up like a sister) is the same way with him...doesn't say anything about how much he has lost.
I honestly believe some of it is jealousy but it's NOT like most of them can't afford to do something...they just haven't decided it's worth it to them so they stay obese. Even my stepmother who is the queen of outspoken stopped saying anything once I got to her size.
