I am surprised
How quickly I can attain 1000 calories in a day.
How quickly the last 7 months have gone by
How my hormones are so jacked up with the slowed weight loss
How large of a drink I can take if I am really thirsty
How my taste have changed
How my current weight no longer seems small enough
How my body seems to do just what I need it to..I can drink much more when I am behind in fluids and I can eat more when I am behind on intake.
Anybody else??

Absolutely. I can certainly eat more than I need to even with my pouch. I'm almost 2 yrs out and it has flown by. I drink normally now and can even drink cold stuff which I couldn't for quite a while. I am happy with where I am, but it is 23 lbs smaller than I expected.
I am now much closer to normal than I am to a surgery altered freak.

Are you sure your honeymoon period is coming to an end? How long does the honeymoon period last for VSG?
My honeymoon lasted around 2+ years with my RNY. I see you still have 17 lbs. to go. Is that to your personal goal or to a normal BMI. Don't be fooled that the honeymoon period is over and that you are on mainteance. That's when trouble can hit. Increasing calories, eating carbs and thinking your body is handling them on it's own, etc. will catch up to us when the honeymoon period is really over.

7 lbs from normal BMI at this point. Still tracking all intake with MFP - get kinda wigged out when I don't track. lol Pretty anal about working out and tracking food intake at this point (DH and DD are both troopers). In the process of changing jobs and setting yet another "new norm". I am just to the point that the weight loss takes some effort - does not just fall off with little to no effort. Tracking has been a help because I keep close watch on not only calories but also carbs, fat and protein -forcing me to make good food choices that I hope will stick the rest of my life. I can say my taste has changed and that is a blessing as I am no longer overly fond of sweets and do not crave carbs.
Currently, I do not have a schedule for exercise. I used to work out each morning before going to work but my new schedule requires I work out at home (unfortunately, I do better in group settings for exercise) - suggestions welcome. (so far I am liking cardio kickboxing - but who wants to do that at 6am just after crawling out of bed lol). But, by the end of the day, I am REALLY in no frame of mind to work out. Just a matter of figuring out what works I suppose.

Hi pedirn06
This is my first post in the lightweight forum and I think it's kind of interesting yours was the first post I read here! Strange it took me this long to come over to this forum! I am almost right there with you at being about 7 months out. I too can quickly attain 1000 calories in a day some days--when months ago it was less than half that, I can take big drinks now too. And I can relate to you on how my current weight no longer seems small enough. I am shooting for more because although I am to a much more acceptable weight--I'm still not where I personally want to be to be at my best.

I think we have a long window with the VSG. I never had a honeymoon after the first month. The pounds crawled off at 3-6 pounds a month. The only thing that mattered was getting to a healthy BMI. Because we don't have malabsorption, we never experience that turn that many do with RNY that more of the calories begin to 'count'.
At the end of year 1, I still had another 20 to shed. Using all of the tools of LW carb, food tracking, daily exercise etc, they came off.
Our Sleeves continue to work great forever if we give them the chance with proper nutrition.
Youve done a great job. It was fun to read your list!
