We live in Steeler Country so it's hard not to get excited when it's so close to home but even though I want them to win and enjoy all of the Steeler songs I rarely watch football.  The guys usually have pizza and then I'm free to read a book or take a nap.

Any St. Louis Rams Fans out there????  The Quarterback Coach, Frank Cignetti, is one of our former All-Star Cheer Dads when he was Coaching at Pitt.  His wife and daughters are the sweetest family ever if you get the chance to meet them.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Unless I'm reading a good book and just want to sit in the living room while the ball game is on, I usually go to the den and watch something else.  My DH watches any kind of ball and racing so it is all year long every weekend.  He gets the big TV on the weekends and during the day on the week days.  I get it at night Monday - Thursday.  It is working out good for us!!

Snacks - I bet they would love the Pizza Chips that we make - pure protein and fat if you use real cheese.

I've been experimenting with the almond flour and made some really good butter cookies and some pecan sandies- hardly any carbs.

I would think meatballs may be a good option if they are in a low carb sauce and possibly peanuts (in a limited amount). Oh and what about devilled eggs made with mustard and a little light mayo? I know we eat the pizza chips dipped in marinara sauce seems like they could too.

I love football season because I participate in the pool where I work... but I do it totally by stats, and never watch a game, LOL! The real surprise (to all the guys who obsess over it weekly), I take the whole thing most years, and have not been out of the top 3 for the 11 years I've been in it!

As far as snacks...

Eggface's bacon wrapped pesto shrimp (yeah, that's my answer to ANY snack question - I LOVE those things!)

warm dip with 93% lean ground beef OR tofu browned, mixed with cheese and fresh salsa (fairly easy to make by chopping peppers, onions, tomatoes and cilantro), and then served with baked crispy whole grain taco shells or pitas
