Good Morning. Get your game face on

Are you ready for some football?  So, what does football season mean to you?  My son finalized his fantasy league football stuff this past weekend--I have to admit I'm clueless. lol

Anyway, football season is a big deal in my house and I can fall asleep laying back in the recliner in an instant with a good game on. I know I'm expected to keep the guys supplied with snacks and drinks--ok, that's my mission and a chose to accept it when I married my hubby. Doesn't mean those snacks are only for him; I have to be allowed a nibble or three as well. So let's share some guy friendly, WLS friendly game snack recipes and ideas.  Remember, my guys are low carbing and high proteining just like I'm supposed to be doing.

Ideas:

Veggie tray with Greek yogurt based dip
Dill pickle spear wrapped in luncheon meat or ham and a slice of cheese

DH watches golf and falls asleep.  Can't eat when you are asleep.  Best reason for not snacking I know.  I have my 4pm meal then cook supper.  Works for us and I don't have to worry about snacks.

The only football game I get excited about is Ohio St VS Michigan. That's always a good game.

Guess that's something I don't have to worry about this year...  but I typically don't snack while watching TV.

Home made snack mix - nuts, raisins, dried cherries and other fruits, yep - you can even put a few M&M's in there too..

Well, ANY game that involves Alabama (ROLL TIDE)!!!

*I* prefer Clemson myself...my blood runneth orange in the fall.

I let dh get his own snacks...never know what he is in the mood for so all my job is is to make sure appropriate foods are in stock in the house.
