Hello WL Friends,

                    Just checking in this morning...Its been awhile since Ive posted!!  I have healed up nicely from my previous surgery and am back in full swing here and doing well!!!  Still maintaining my weight around 138 to 140ish lbs...my body seems to like being at this weight!!  I am trying to get to 130lbs!!  This maintence thing is tough....protein protein and more protein!!!  Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful summer!!

Sometimes our bodies have a different idea than we do.  Mine seems to like 117 which is ok with me.  Maintainance is tough but we have a good group here who is working through it.  Hope you will join right in with us.  Carbs seem to be the issue with most folks, those devil  carbs that Roz warned us about from day one.

Thanks Price for writing...I agree with you about Carbs being an issue...It is for me too!!!  Im still charting my carbs, calories and protein and think I will continue to do so...so easy to get off track!!!  Im so there with you all....

Good to hear from you and glad you have healed and are doing good.

Maintenance is hard.  We need all the support we can get!!

Thanks Linda for your reply...You are so right...Maintenance is a toughie...trial and error...We do need all the support we can get from each other...

Hello Liz...Ive been missing you too!!  Agree with you wholeheartly...Maintenance is tough...We are all experiencing the same thing...We all need to stick together in our battle of the Carbs!!!   Glad to hear you are doing well too!!!

Hello Liz, Major mom pointed me to you, i hope thats ok. I have a few questions.I am from indiana. My mother has had the DS. I am a light weight of a BMI of 35. I have medicare and medicaid and was wondering if you knew the ins and outs of the process.
