Great link. Thanks I will check it out and try to pay attention. I usually wait to see if my head hurts or if I feel dizzy before I cross something off of my list. LOL I guess I will have to pay closer attention.

Congrats on finding an exercise you like!  I also love Zumba, but haven't done it in a LONG time.  I loved my instructor... now I've moved.

Gas - oh my.  Can be caused by so many things.  Do as the others say and do a diet elimination.  I also find protein drinks and even my calcium chews cause gas (and constipation) in me.  Carbs do too....

Do you drink diet sodas?  They can be a culprit too...

Good luck!

Thank you, it was fun and I only feel it a little bit in my legs and arms today. That's a benefit as well. I hope you find another class.

I'm going to try the diet elimination but I hope it's not my protein drinks cause I won't know what to use for breakfast anymore. LOL They are so convenient. I don't take calcium chews, I take the pill format and I still can't tolerate soda or carbonation of any kind. I'm going to get started eliminating!

TMI on the LW Board....LOL.   That's why we are here because we have ALL experienced what you are going through. I hope you figure it out so DH will quit teasing you about ti.

Carbs and my Chewable Calcium Citrate cause me the most gas.  I never thought about sugar alcohols but that could be part of my problem too.

Sorry Roz, LOL He isn't teasing anymore. He told me I'd better find something and quick! LOL He can't sleep at night.

I will work on the carbs. I have gone back to recording everything that I eat so I can see what kind of carbs I'm eating and if they are bad carbs, I will cut them out. I also need to check sugar alcohols because I never paid attention to them before, I am a creature of habit when it comes to food, so I have to find something to replace the stuff I'm cutting out. I appreciate your suggestions.

I have gas all the time but it is worse sometimes more than others.  One thing I have pinpointed is soy.  I really like soy milk but it is horrible for gas for me.  Protein bars sometimes have a lot of soy also.  Mine stays at a reasonable level unless I add soy so I try to stay away from it.  Whey protein doesn't seem as bad.

I love Zumba and try to get in 2 classes a week.  I tried the water aerobics but the ones here are too low key and don't seem to get me going.  I do better swimming laps if I am going to be in the water.  It is so important to finding something you really enjoy because you are more likely to stick with it.

Thanks Price. I think you were the person who suggested that I keep trying exercise until I found something before. I think I commented to you that I would "NEVER" find anything. LOL I think I have. That lady has us moving in the water. I could barely keep up. They said I would get better the longer I attend. I think I was the youngest thing there and I couldn't keep up. LOL It was funny and everyone was so nice. I'm working on 2-3 times a week doing something. My children keep me busy with their schedules but I'm trying to squeeze some time in for me.

I will check for soy in my Adkins drinks. That may be the problem. I will have to figure out what I have for breakfast though.

A lot of great advice here..I would start with the protein drinks. i used to drink them in the beginning and had issues.  Also, look at your food list.  if I so much as eat just 1 little cookie, I am running for the gas ex...But it helps me to stay in check.  You have to eliminate things one at a time.  i remembered 1 time i switched to a new protein powder and it took me a week to figure out it was giving me gas and man was it aweful!!!    Good luck!!

I came home and told my hubby what we were discussing. He said it started when I started the protein drinks. Now I have to find something for breakfast. LOL I also ate my ice cream bar as a test and I was very bloated. I found 2 things already. I love ice cream so I need a replacement.

Don't give up your Protein drinks!!!!  Find one that doesn't give you gas.  I drink at least 4 Syntrax Nectares a day with no gas.   Ice Cream is a definte no no for me.
