Well, I'm finally in the 170's...I'll take it..better down then up.

My goal was to start getting my protein in last week and so I found Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie...I've done well getting in at least 45g in via protein shakes which was better than the zero I had been doing. This week my goal is to double that...so hopefully, next week I'll be able to write that I'm getting in 90g. Every day I'm trying to learn more and do better.

I've been making a conscious effort to increase my food to put on weight.  I've been noticing a different trend with my weight.  In the past it was the  same way but not since I had my revision.  I stayed the same weight for 6 days exactly, 103, and the body fat percentage was exactly the same, too.  On the 7th day I was up to about 104.2 and the next day it was 103.6 and it's been there for 5 or 6 days.  No real fluctuations for days.  I like it that way.  I would be happy to gain half a pound to one pound a week.  I'd hate to see a large jump.  Makes it easier for me to figure out what I need to do and what's working.
Blood sugar has been wacky, too.  Not sure what is going on.  It was fine for a few months and in the last week I have had two episodes of hypoglycemia.  Not sure what I am doing differently other then upping my food a bit.  Still not eating sugar or a lot of carbs.  I ate my normal breakfast, Greek yogurt with sf pudding mix and a protein coffee and a while later my blood sugar dropped.  I'm not sure how low because I couldn't find my strips but I could tell it was low.  I had a couple of protein muffins and I still feel a bit shaky.

The reactive hypoglycemia has kicked in it sounds like...very common with the RNY. What helps is eating at least 6 small meals per day if not more...making sure you get protein and fat (fat to slow down the absorption of protein/carbs so it hits your system slower) and good for you carbs.

Being stable is good!

I normally eat at least every 2 or 3 hours so I thought maybe I wouldn't have a problem.  I hope it doesn't get worse.  I have been snacking on nuts for the protein and fats.  I keep things with me all the time just in case.  I hope it goes away again.  I'm not sure what else I can do.

Atleast you went down .2 and didn't do what I did this week.

+1.5 - I am still in range, but have had a really bad week and weekend and need to get it back under control...  Stress, Stress, Stress = Carbs, Carbs & more carbs & sweets for me!!
