New school year just around the corner many changes ahead
We go back to school Monday. At the beginning of the summer I was reassigned to 5th grade from 1st grade. Dear hubby moved me in about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I found out I was reassigned to ART. I am so excited about teaching ART. A dear friend of mine introduced me to the world of absolute positivity. No matter what the cir****tance I have been trying to spin things in a positive light. I can not say it has been an easy concept but one I am glad I have decided to make a part of my life. Doors have been opened that I wouldn't think would be in a million years. I hope to take this into my weightloss journey as well. Making goood choices and feeling good about it will be a great place to start. I have been up since 3:30 my mind has been spinning of all that I need to get done before Monday. I am not sure what is going on with my stomach lately...maybe stress but when I eat I can only eat a tiny bit before I feel like I am uncomfortable like it is in my throat. Strange but within and hour or so it goes away and I feel hungry again. Praying new school year new room two fridgerators will allow me to prepare a little better and make wiser food choices.
On a really happy note I got a great gift this week from a dear friend...a 10 week old Maltese puppy. I have named her Daisy. For those of you that don't know my hubby isn't an animal person but through the power of positivity amazingly he didn't object. He hasn't warmed up to her crying and wimpering but he don't hate her lol. I am thrilled to have this precious little girl in my life. Pink little bow and all.
I hope you and yours are off to great school years filled with healthy food choices and great opportunities to learn and grow together.
Now Miss Daisy sounds like so much fun. You'll have her in dresses and skirts before you know it! Enjoy your weekend!

The only school my kids are doing is going back to college. I'm proud of my son for getting the motivation to do it. He received his associates a few years ago and has been working in the field, but knows he needs his bachelors to really make it. So he'll be working full+ time, doing side jobs and going to school full time.
My contribution to that will to help him with his tuition and moral support.

Next school year will be our exciting year. We will be having 2 of our DGC going to kindergarten. I've always taken the 2 oldest ones to the bus in the morning on my way to work but the oldest goes to Jr. High (7th) so I'll only get to see the 2nd grader in the mornings which bums me out a little. I don't get to see them as often as I like because they have to split weekends with their Dad.
