Trouble getting my fluids in.

2.5 wks out and just started soft foods. My doc skips over pureed stage. Anyway, food seems to go down well but I'm having problems getting enough water in between meals. The only liquids I can stand right now are skilm milk and water, and the water hits my stomach like a brick. I've tried different temps with small sips spaced out and it doesn't seem to matter. I'm still able to get 30+ oz in a day, but that's not enough. Is this normal at this stage?

It's fairly normal but still not a good thing.  You don't want to end up dehydrated.  Can you eat popsicles?  It has been really hot around here this week so I have frozen my protein drinks in popsicle molds and it's really made a difference.
Early out I was able to drink warm things like tea pretty easy.
Just keep trying and you should be able to get more in  soon.

Try adding some fresh squeezed lime or lemon juice and a touch of Splenda to your water. Maybe a different temp. Keep trying though you don't want to end up in the ER getting bags of fluids.

It is normal at this stage.  Usually it is one extreme or the other.    I was never a liquid drinker before WLS so getting in all of the liquids was a chore for me early out.

You said you already tried different temperatures so maybe add a little crystal lite.  I couldn't handle flavors early out  and everything  tasted so strong but soft flavors like peach or mango worked pretty good for me.   Hot settled a lot better than cold for me.

Tazz's suggestion about the popsicles was a good one.  I also love to crunch on ice.  Fortunately for me I had my WLS in the fall so I drank alot of NSA Hot Chocolate with Chocolate Protein in it.  I also drank a lot of Unjury  Protein Chicken Broth.  Even soup with lots of juice or boullion cube broth.

30 oz. is a good start for 2.5 wks out.   Just keep sipping and it will get better.
