Newbie forum questions. :)

Yep, as it happens, swinging chickens is a Jewish ritual but they didn't know that when they created the truce. Imagine their surprise. :)

 So glad I asked!!! Love the story...I admit I'm agnostic but I'd never tell someone that their prayers aren't welcome...or they shouldn't offer up a prayer if that is their belief. Well wishes or prayers or rain dances or whatever...they all come from a well intended heart to someone who probably needs some warmth.  If ever I need warm thoughts, i hope y'all swing every critter you can grab, light every candle, pray to whatever and any god you know...I'll take and appreciate whatever I can get. :).  

As for the boards years ago...I understand the drama that can rear its head on forums. Some folks feel they have ownership after they've been around awhile. I think most people say these forums have improved. I've seen some nasty posts on different boards just in the short time I've been here so I find myself gravitating to this forum more and more. Kudos to all of you in WLS Lightweights for working to foster a safe, kind, educational and honest environment. It isn't going unnoticed and it's appreciated!
