I had to go to a funeral this morning also. The man I had been visiting at the nursing home since last August died last week and his service was today. He was such a sweet person. I am going to miss seeing his smiling face each week. His wife is in the nursing home so I will still get to see her.

I hate going to funerals but it's something you just need to do to support your family and for closure. My DH is the baby of 9. He was the only one from his siblings that was there for his sister. Myself and 2 sister-in-laws and 3 nieces. That is so sad to me. If they don't all come when I die to support their brother I might just haunt them all....LOL.
I love pie so it's something I just can't have in the house. DH loves the blueberry pies from Sams Club and last night he left 2 small bites of crust and of course I scrapped the plate with them...so I skipped my popcorn for the evening.
