Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

Back to Monday's schedule.....YEAH!!!!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Saturday was crazy at our house but Sunday was a pretty relaxing day but that's when the munchies wanted to creep in.  I went to the store with DH and I actually bought a small bag of Honey BQ potato chips and I had every intention of enjoying every last one.  After it layed on the table most of the afternoon DH asked me if he could open it and I told him to open it and fini****  Later in the evening I pouted a little so we ran to the local store to buy another bag and they didn't have a single bag left!  DH offered to go to another store but I actually felt a little relief so I went home and had popcorn which was a much better choice any way.

Just the the best you can do!  It's hard when you are on vacation and everyone's snacking. I'm sure chasing after the little one will give you some extra miles.  Enjoy your vacation!

Sounds Good So Far!!

Hi Roz,
I didn't do as good as you with the chips yesterday.  DH bought a can of the potato sticks.  After he went to bed, I ate a bunch of them.  This morning he asked me why I left any in the can - I told him I was too embarassed to eat the entire can so I just ate most of it!!  I told him he needs to get something like Salt & Vinegar that I don't like...  I was not at all hungry when I ate these makes me so mad at myself, but today is a new day, back at work and back on schedule.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee

I really like potato sticks too. Isn't it surprising how easily chips, popcorn, fries go down so easily and never get stuck. I don't like Salt & Vinegar either.

At least you were honest with your DH.  I remember times before surgery that I would sneak and eat banana flips and hide the papers so no one would know.  Now I always eat when others are around because I never want to sneak again.

Love your Protein total!

Question... Is this what everyone plans to eat today or is that what we actually ate yesterday. I would like to contribute.

Certainly join in.  We ususally post what we plan on eating that day, although I never got around to posting so I am posting what I ate yesterday.  It also helps if you go back and edit when you don't eat what you thought you were going to.  Accountablitiy!!!

Most of us write down what we are planning for the day but then update later if we make changes or add things. The updating is the most important part! If you write down a menu that looks pretty good but then don't stick to it knowing you aren't going to update you are defeating the whole thing.

If you'd rather post what you ate the day before that's fine too.

Come Join Us!!!
