Sunday Weigh In

In May, I had my body fat tested hydrostatically. It was 18.9% (I have no boobs). I know I do have some muscle, but usually, when it drops a pound or two, is when I haven't weight trained for a week or two. In June, I was on vacation for two weeks and didn't weight train for an additional week, upon my return home. During that time, I dropped almost two pounds, and when I started again with the weights, my weight floated back up to the 110 range. I am having a Bod Pod test done next week, so it will be interesting to compare the two values, although, body composition does change frequently. The hand held devices are not accurate, but can be useful for indicating trends.

Stair step loser, and this was my losing week. I cannot stress that I'm good at this weight (120-129). I'm adding some healthy fats so I don't look so bony. I like being thin-I just don't want folks thinking I'm sick.

Bonus is I can wear a size 0 now.

Last week    117
this week      117

I'm fine with 117.  when I had my body fat tested this week, I was 22.5% which is below the desired 24-36%.  maybe that is why my body keeps going back to 117.

Interesting that you had your body fat tested. How did you have that done?

Good going,

Liz

When I went to my Nut visit the thing was sitting there and I asked to have it done.  I'm glad I did.  If you have someone who has one, Dr, surgeon or someone, it was easy.  I know Curves used to have a hand held one but I wasn't sure how accurate it was.  This was a step up but probably not as accurate as the one where they float you.
