Oh dear, I hope you do get back to where you want to be.

Last week: 176.75
This week: 174.25
Loss: 2.5 (yippee!!)

Total loss in nearly 3 weeks 13.75lb.  My weigh in's meant to be Monday, but I was happy with today's so thought I'd got with that even though I'd have like an extra 0.25lbs as 14lbs is 1 stone in the UK!! ;-)

I keep waiting for me to stall.  I've not been a total saint, for example having chicken kievs, (I only removed some of the crispy coating).  Anyway I'm eating pretty well and  losing.

You are doing great...and yes, the first stall is almost a given...your body all of a sudden decides it's done enough and holds on to everything...then when it decides that nothing is gonna change, it starts cooperating again.

I'm NOT a happy camper cause my eating hasn't really changed in the last months (okay, except for while my jaw healed). Most of my carbs are veggie carbs and NOT peas/corn type. But green veggies such as broccolli.

I just need to buckle down.

Oh dear, yes it does get boring easily (says she who's not quite 3 weeks out!!).  I've fallen prey to having a few potato chips (not that many), but there are times that they do hit the spot.

I think I may have a few dry roasted peanuts later - as at least they help me get in some more protein.  I'm only getting in around 70g protein a day at the mo, which shocks me as my stomach wasn't touched (the surgeon looked when he operated, but said it wasn't needed).

I think that the 5 days I had in hospital were a veritable 'pouch test' for my sleeve though which is why I'm eating less.

Even tho your sleeve wasn't touched, I'd be careful with anything that has or COULD have a sharp edge. Give your insides another week or so of easy stuff.

Good luck with getting in more protein.

I never stalled the whole time.  I slowed down as I got closer to goal but I never had more than a week that I didn't lose.  I did stay way high protein and way low carb during the losing time but I never stalled.

That's good to hear Price.  I'm going to go a little lower carb (ie no more breaded chicken - I figured Kievs were softer for me early out).  I think the occasional potato chip here and there should be OK, I don't want to feel like I'm on a diet and end up having a binge.

I was self-pay and this is my 2nd WLS so I'm going to make every effort to make it work, including working out when I'm able to - I think I'll hold off until I'm 6 weeks out as the surgeon didn't specify and I didn't ask.  Until then walks will have to do.

This week: 110.2 lbs

Last week: 109.8 lbs

Increase 0.4 lbs

My range is 108-110 lbs, but my body seems to like the 110 area.  I'm going to increase the cardio this week, to see if it makes any difference. My eating is pretty good, no simple carbs or sugar.

I'll be interested to see what your body fat test shows.  It may be that the 110 is fine.  I'm thinking that although I liked 115, 117 may be fine with me since my body fat % is good.
