Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!   

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Phase!

It is so cold here today!!!!   My Mom wanted to go to the fabric store but it's got to warm up a bit before I can take her out. 

Do you fear restaurants?  After all of this time I still do if it's someplace I seldom go to.  DH was hungry for wings last night so we went to a local place that pretty much fries everything.  Just looking at the menu made me feel flushed like I was dumping and I could feel fear (strange)   I ended up with shrimp but I only ate about 6 pieces and DH finished them off after he ate all of his wings.  I use to LOVE all of that grease and now it makes me cringe inside.

We're headed up to the mountains this afternoon and I know I'll be pushing the envelope some food wise. I'm taking a lot of my good go-to foods and drinks, so we'll see how it goes.

I don't really have an appetite today, but making myself get the protein in ! I have been on lots of narcotics and haven't had a BM in a few days, what stool softeners do you recommend, I don't want to get constipated !

Get some miralax.  You can do it more than once a day if you need to.  I use benefiber everyday but needed the miralax when I was on drugs after surgery.

I remember with my GB surgery years ago thinking about how good some kind of food would be then not being able to eat it.  It was after that surgery that I finally reached goal with WW because I just couldn't eat.  Probably never would have reached goal without the surgery.  Enjoy not being hungry, just get your protein and fluid in.

Took Poppy down to SC to a tack shop this morning to get us both fitted for a saddle.  She takes an exrta wide and I take a small so it was interesting but we found one that fits both of us and I could afford.  Can't wait to ride her with it soon.
