i'm back......been a while!!!
i'm guilty of just getting caught up in living,...i guess!
work has been a nightmare with budget cuts....not replacing workers as they leave/retire = my workload has quadrupled in the past 18 months....and all the stress that goes with that...plus hubby's job required lots of travel....so....with keeping housework and outside household chores done plus trying to exercise and trying to be the world's greatest grandma......and so it goes!!
as of 6/21/12 i'm 2 years post op.....maintaining is going pretty well.....i still battle the carb monster! sometimes i win....sometimes the carb monster wins. still drinking my protein shakes daily.....i have found that protein bars are not my friend! they are delicious and they are sweet but they seem to make me want more (thinking it's the sweet tooth thing) so i have stopped buying them. and i made a mistake in eating popcorn again....i sooo love me some popcorn. when i eat it i eat the 98% fat free,......but it's still carbs....which are not my friend!
i have lurked in the past few months but just haven't had time to post. gonna change that today! i need my lightweight peeps!! sorry it's been so long.....
forgive me?

It sounds like you are doing really well . I love popcorn too! I had to start buying the single serving bags because I could down the bigger bags way to fast. I think it helps keep my bowels regular...at least that's my excuse...no it really does help. I can't have the protein bars either or flavorings in my Protein drinks because they both set me off craving sweets.
Hope you keep posting!
