Lactose Free yogart
OMG...... my pouch no longer likes milk.. Sooooooooooooo I thought I'd try lactose free yogurt... Nope it doesn't like it either... I'm in denial but I'm positive the sugar in it has something to do with it... And to answer the question... No I'm blonde and did not look at the sugar content til I had eaten the whole cup..... And to answer that question.. Normally sugar and carbs are the first thing I look at... Got excited over it being lactose free I guess.... So here I'm am huffing and puffing... Nauseated... Hands tingling .. Lips numb... Waiting for it to pass,....
Opps. We have all done silly stupid things, like not chewing well enough, not looking at the label before we wolf something down or whatever. Just learn your lesson. Hope you are feeling better soon. Don't beat yourself up.

Sorry for what you're going through - I hope you feel better soon. Goat's yogurt maybe another alternative, it's low in lactose and the lactose molecules it does have are a lot smaller and more easily digestible. The proteins are also different in goat's milk and that might be a contributing factor as well as lactose.

I developed lactose intolerance after surgery and it's still not resolved but what helped me thru the early months was taking a lactaid pill AND doing as much lactose free as possible.
